Hi, I’m Hallie, the owner and maker behind Rising M. I grew up in a small town along the Central Coast of California, and today I’m proud to call Stephenville, Texas, the Cowboy Capital of the World, my home.

Rising M was just beginning to grow when I experienced a head and spinal injury that changed the direction of my life in ways I never expected. During that time, I leaned into leatherwork as something to keep my hands busy and my mind focused. What started as a way to move forward one day at a time eventually became the heart of this business. Over time, this business became more than work, it became a piece of who I am. 

Now I spend my days creating pieces that carry a little bit of my time, my care, and a whole lot of my story in them. There is something incredibly meaningful about watching something that started in my hands go out into the world and live a completely different life with someone else.

I know not everyone gets the chance to do what they love for a living, and I never take that privilege lightly. Every person who supports my work makes this possible, and I’m endlessly grateful for that, so from the bottom of my and my goosies heart, thank you!
